This is the sixth and the final part of this vintage tour in 70s Corfu. In this part we are going to see another ten documentary images taken from different parts of the island like Paleokastritsa, Kassiopi and Ai Gordis. All those images were scanned from a vintage tourist book of my collection.

The little peninsula on which the Paleokastritsa'a monastery is situated
Monks chatting in Paleokastritsa's monastery
Kassiopi - Four views in one

Geiasou Gianni,
I have this touristguide you are referring to, at home. We bought it when we visited Kerkyra for the first time back in 1981.
But the photograph of the 2 young ladies at the beach you refer to as being taken in Acharavi, is actually in Roda (at least that's what my book says....). And Roda happens to be my favourite place to stay when coming to Kerkyra ;)

Keep up the good work!!
Greets from Holland,
Petra

Thanks for sharing these retro photos with us! Where have you found so many authentic pics? Personally for me, Corfu is an all-time favourite holiday destination. Moreover, did you know that it is listed in the "Top 10 Prettiest Places in Greece"? Just get redirected here: http://www.agsinger.com/prettiest-places-in-greece/. The historical and religious monuments of Corfu, its picturesque villages, extremely beautiful nature and the hospitality of the locals offer memories difficult to forget.
