As you have not mentioned it I susoect you didn't think highly of the OSCE get-together at Gouvia (;)) and all the sprucing up that was done for the visitors. It's strange to hear that it's been raining quite a bit on the dear Island.
The OSCE summit is another story - we all suffered delays in our commuting but I guess that would have happen also in an another place as well. Yes, It rained a lot during the last days of June, but it was so much needed. Since then, it hasn't rained again.
