Corfu is like a postcard: Paleokastritsa, Bella Vista and Aggelokastro

Corfu is really beautiful during springtime. Nature is blossomed and the weather is getting warmer and dryer so it is the perfect time for brief excursions. Last Sunday, me and my friends decided to visit some famous spots of the island on the northwest side: Paleokastritsa, Lakones and Aggelokastro. All these spots are neighbouring. The two former offer you breathtaking and exclusive views of west Corfu and Ionian Sea.

Here is a sample of the photos I took last Sunday:

St. George Pagon panorama:

Rocks in the sea- petrified boats?

Central Corfu and Lazareto island from Aggelokastro:

A rather macabre image: A commemorative plague of a man who commited suicide back in 1993 and the gravity the view gives.

Paleokastritsa from Aggelokastro.

Paleokastritsa again.

Entrance to Aggelokastro:

View of Aggelokastro:

The rather mountainous west coast of Corfu:

A village and Corfu Town at the back - zoomed picture taken from Aggelokastro:

Paleokastritsa from the balcony of Bella Vista in Lakones village:

A more general view of Paleokastritsa from Bella Vista:

Paleo's full of hotels and tourist oriented ventures:

Isn't it lovely?
